Gary L. Harris

Gary L. Harris, 67, of Rock Island, Illinois, died on Sunday, April 30, 2023.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 11, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12^th Street, Moline. Visitation will occur one hour prior to services. Burial is at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Gary’s name.

Gary Lee Harris was born February 3, 1956, in Dixon, Illinois, to Buford and Betty (Haywood) Harris. He served in the United States Army. He enjoyed music, especially drumming; martial arts, fishing, and watching movies.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Harris; children, Marcus (Gabriela) Harris, Toniika Davis, Andre Davis, Peter Bourrage, and Melissa Bourrage; grandchildren, Teriona Brennan, Jamaree Bourrage, Mariah Harris, and Malena Harris; great-grandchildren, Zoey and Sophie Brennan; sister, Karen Suzette (Alphonse) Hudson. He was preceded in death by his father, Buford Harris; son, Gary A. Bourrage; and bonus mom, Janice Baugh.
