Gary Harmon

Gary L. Harmon, 68, died at 6:22 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2019, in the Knox County Nursing Home, Knoxville.

He was born Sept. 23, 1950, in Galesburg, the son of James Harmon and Verna Winkler Harmon.

He is survived by his daughters, Natalie Schwab of Knoxville and Vanessa (Shaun) Olson of North Henderson; four granddaughters; and a brother, Larry (Patty) Harmon of Libertyville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Keegan Olson.

Gary earned two associate degrees and worked as a respiratory therapist. He served in the Army Reserves.

Visitation is from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at Zion Lutheran Church in North Henderson. The funeral is from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Memorials will be made to the family in care of his daughters, Natalie Schwab and Vanessa Olson.
