Marjorie G. Wheaton, 84, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Tuesday, September 11, 2007, in Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Private family services will be held. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is entrusted with arrangements.
Marjorie was born May 1, 1923, in Hays, Kansas. She was an assembler for Servus Rubber Company, now Norcross Safety Products for 40 years. She enjoyed art and gardening.
Marjorie is survived by her son, Michael Wheaton of Rock Island; her daughter-in-law, Melaney Doggett of East Moline; two grandsons and their spouses, John and Tara Smith and Donald J. and Amy Smith, all of Colona; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert H. Doggett.
