Patsy Pisman, 82, of Colona, Illinois, died Sunday, May 15, 2011, in Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, Illinois.
Services are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick?s Cathlic Church in Colona, with The Reverend Duane Jack officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Burial is in Dayton Corners Cemetery, Colona. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Medical Fund for Patsy?s great-granddaughter, Alesea Phillips. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is assisting the family.
The former Patsy Darlene Rockwell was born May 30, 1928, in Silvis, Illinois, the daughter or Roxie Rockwell. She married Alfred J. Pisman, Jr. on January 21, 1948, in Moline. He died on October 16, 2004.
She worked for Montgomery Ward for 20 years, and then for Green Park Pharmacy in Colona as a bookkeeper for over twenty years.
Patsy was a member of St. Patrick?s Catholic Church, Colona, and enjoyed playing bingo and knitting.
She is survived by her children and spouses, Sandra and Timothy Damm of East Moline, Illinois, Marilyn and Gary Lockwood of Hampton, Illinois, Donald and Wendy Pisman of Arnold, Maryland, Patrick Pisman of Davenport, a daughter-in-law, Ruth Pisman of Silvis, 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and half-sisters, Marily Voigts of Milan, Illinois, Shirley Fox of Coon Rapids, Iowa, and Lyda Versluis of Higbee, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Steven Pisman, and a special uncle, Everett Rockwell.
