The former Frances Marie Johnson was born February 28, 1916, in Moline, the daughter of Charles and Sophia (Pearson) Johnson. She married Clifton K. Mulinaux in 1944. He died in November of 1990.
Frances worked as the Controller at Tri-State Aero Engineering, in Bettendorf, which her husband owned and operated. Previously, she had worked at John Deere, and as an analyst for the CIA. She enjoyed gardening and loved her Shitzu, Moppett. She was very active in Women in Construction.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Rosewood for the wonderful care given to Frances for the past few years, and also to Beacon of Hope Hospice. Frances was a very strong-willed woman that made sure things were done her way, even up until the very end. She will be deeply missed.
Frances is survived by a nephew, Dick and Susan Johnson of Gig Harbor, Washington; three nieces, Karen and Arthur Watt of Libertyville, Illilnois, April and Robert Fritz of Gaithersburg, Maryland, and Robin Graham of East Moline, Illinois; and great-nieces, Jennifer and Melissa Watt. She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Johnson, and a sister, Helen Graham.
