Floyd W. "Rick" Wendel, 87, of Davenport, Iowa, died Saturday, February 25, 2017, at St. Anthony's, Rock Island.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of the Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

He was born November 28, 1929, the son of Andrew and Dorothy Wendel. He married Charlotte Glick and she passed away in 2005.

Floyd is survived by two children, Synthia and Jeff Wendel, of Davenport, two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
