Floyd ”Eddie” Weaver

Floyd E. ”Eddie” Weaver II, 64, of Moline, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020, at University Hospitals, Iowa City, Iowa

Services are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. The Rev. Michael Vokt will officiate. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Following services, cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Floyd was born February 25, 1955, in Bristol, Tennessee, the son of Floyd I and Patricia (Peeks) Weaver. He married Julie Cooper on August 17, 1974, in Kansas City, Missouri. He worked in the restaurant business for most of his career, managing or opening restaurants throughout the country. After leaving the industry, he worked for Walmart until his retirement.

Eddie’s family was most important to him and he would do anything for them. He will be missed!

He is survived by his wife, Julie; his children, Christine (Kolter Feehan) Weaver, Jared Weaver, and Jereme (Jamie) Weaver; grandchildren, Alexander, Shelby, Jackson, Gabriel, Landon and Lucas; his sister, Sandra (Larry) Chaney; his brother, Jack (Ann) Greene; his mother-in-law, Ruth Cooper; and his brother-in-law, Bruce Cooper. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Larry Weaver; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
