Eric James Cary was born October 8, 1988, in Davenport, the son of Debora Schumacher and James Cary.
He enjoyed many things including fishing, working out, doing tattoos, listening to music, cursing, playing sports, he loved acting like a dork while in public to make others laugh, hanging out with friends, and he loved to skateboard. He loved listening to his dad sing and play his guitar. Eric was a true avid Saint Louis Cardinals fan. His true passions were drawing, and spending time with his family. A big highlight of his life was making it for the birth of his daughter Kaylin (Princess).
Eric struggled with many demons. But the day he was called home he was where he truly wanted to be: at home with his mom, and siblings knowing he was surrounded by unconditional love. Eric was definitely a momma’s boy, he knew she was his rock.

His father, James (Bobby) Cary of Davenport; siblings, Michelle, Robert, and Adriana Hines all of Davenport. Daughter Kaylin Cary and mother Stephanie Lewis of Iowa City.
