Emma E. Hofmann

Aledo, Illinois Funeral Services for Emma E. Hofmann, 68, of Aledo will be Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Trimble Funeral Home, Aledo. Burial will be in Aledo Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3 to 8 PM with the family present from 5 to 8 PM. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society for Lung Cancer Research. Emma died on Saturday, August 24, 2002 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island. Emma was born on August 28, 1933 in Reynolds, Illinois to Charles R. and Hazel M. (Sproston) Fordham. She married Robert Hofmann on June 14, 1952 in Aledo. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Emma enjoyed gardening, reading, music and had a great sense of humor. She was devoted to her family and especially enjoyed her tea time with Taylor. Emma is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert; a daughter and son-in-law, Suzi and Don Corwin of Chapel Hill, TN; a grandson and his wife, Daniel and Beth Corwin of Chapel Hill, TN and a great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Corwin.
