Emma Darlene Nord

Emma Darlene Nord, better known as Tudy, 75, of Moline, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021, at her home, with family close by.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory, Moline. There will be no services.

Tudy was born on June 9, 1946, in Great Falls, Montana, to Ronald Stone and Donna Mae Golie. However, she was raised by her mother and stepfather, William Hampton, who she always called her dad. Tudy married Edward Nord on December 19th, 1964. She was an excellent waitress for many years, but was an insurance underwriter for a time, and finished her working years as a house cleaner for part time work. Her parenting skills were first rate, and she was a dream spouse.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Edward; children Rhonda (John) Gunter, and Michael Nord, both of Moline; grandchildren, Cassie, Elizabeth, Jacob and Abby, all of Moline; great-grandchildren, Jaycee, Brylee, Schuylar, Tatum, and Hudson; and her sister Diana (Ron) Zbinden. She felt especially blessed that her entire immediate family lived in Moline. Tudy was preceded in death by her parents.
