Emily I. Moore

Emily I. Moore, 96, of Rock Island, died Wednesday, February 01, 2006, at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Private graveside services will take place Thursday. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is assisting the family. Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church, Rock Island.
The former Emily Isadora Howe was born July 9, 1909, the daughter of Osgood and Cherry Lou (Wagner) Howe. She married Harb Moore on December 12, 1931, in Lexington, Kentucky. He died November 26, 1996.
Emily and her husband were co-owners of Kent Shoes in Rock Island for over 45 years.
Emily is survived by a son, Hal Moore of Rock Island; granddaughters, Mary Anne and Rick Waldorf, and Marcia and Dale Major; grandson, Mark Moore; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
