Eloise M. Galbraith

Bettendorf, Iowa Eloise M. Galbraith, 87, of Bettendorf, Iowa, formerly of Moline, Illinois, died Monday, December 15, 2003, in Bettendorf Health Care Center. Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Burial is in Biggsville Township Cemetery, Biggsville, Illinois. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Gilda's Club or a favorite charity. The former Eloise Marie Robicheaux was born August 23, 1916, in Franklin, Louisiana, the daughter of Luke J. and Celasie (Hebert) Robicheaux. She married Samuel R. Galbraith on July 15, 1941, in Kahoka, Missouri. He died July 26, 1982. She was employed in food service by Moline Public Schools for 22 years, retiring in 1979. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline, and enjoyed reading and cooking. Eloise is survived by a daughter, Pat Kibler of Washington, Illinois; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Katie Galbraith with whom she resided in Bettendorf; three grandchildren, Jennifer Eckhold and her husband Sean of Peoria, and Anthea and Alexandra Galbraith of Bettendorf; and a sister, Ona Morin of Bellvue, Nebraska.
