Elizabeth A. Mason

June 30, 1950 — February 16, 2015

Elizabeth A. Mason, 64, of Moline, Illinois, died unexpectedly on Monday, February 16, 2014, in her home.

A memorial gathering will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 2, at CityView Celebrations at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Cremation took place at Trimble Crematory and private burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan, where Liz volunteered. Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory, Moline, is in charge of arrangements.

Elizabeth Ann Mason as Born June 30, 1950, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Ralph L. and Kathryn Beagley Mason. She graduated from Moline High School in 1969, and worked for John Deere Merchandise for several years, retiring in 2012. She was a member of First Congregational Church, Moline.

Liz is survived by her brother and sisters-in-law, Don and Midge Mason of Rotonda West, Florida, and Norma Mason of Friday Harbor, Washington; nieces and nephews, Kathryn and John Vanderput, Pam Foster, Jim and Michele Mason, Don Mason, and Laura and Steve Hill; and ten great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, William Mason.
