Funeral Services for Edith M. Wilson 83, of Moline, Illinois, are 10:30 AM, Friday, May 10, 2002 at First Evangelical Free Church, Moline, Illinois where she was a member, with the Reverend Andrew Goffinet officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, Illinois. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois. Memorials may be directed to Arrowhead Ranch, Christian Friendliness or to the church. Mrs. Wilson died Monday, May 6, 2002 at Illini Hospital, Silvis, Illinois after a brief illness. The former Edith Marie Limkeman was born January 2, 1919 in Basco, Illinois the daughter of August and Minnie (Jacob) Limkeman. She married Dwight H. Sidlinger in 1941 in San Diego, California; he preceded her in death on July 5, 1984. She married Roscoe Wilson in 1989 in Moline, Illinois. Mrs. Wilson was self-employed as a beautician for 51 years, retiring in 1989. She was a member of Christian Friendliness, was a foster parent, and volunteered at Arrowhead Ranch, and Bethany Home, working with troubled teens. Mrs. Wilson's survivors include her husband, Roscoe Wilson of Moline, Illinois; two daughters and a son-in-law, Betty Sidlinger of Livermore, California, and Joyce and Martin Archibald of Bettendorf, Iowa; two grandchildren, Brooke and Christine Archibald of Bettendorf, Iowa; step son, Paul Wilson of Palmdale, California; foster daughter, Marilyn Fenton of Colona, Illinois; four step grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; and a step great-great-grandaughter. Her seven sisters, and five brothers preceded her in death.
