Loraine Eba Longmire, 88, formerly of Moline, Illinois, died Friday, May 9, 2008, in Lexington Place, Lake Zurich, Illinois.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Moline, with The Reverend Dr. John Peterson officiating. Burial is in Rock Island Memorial Park. Visitation is one hour before the services. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer?s Association. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is entrusted with arrangements.
The former Loraine Eba Provancha was born November 27, 1919, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of George and Cecilia (Carr) Provancha. She married Robert Edward Longmire in Chicago. He died March 19, 1977. She was bookkeeper for Dr. Paul Moen for several years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Moline.
Loraine is survived by three children and their spouses, Pamela and Ed Conatser of Denison, Texas, Deborah and John Heiden of Deer Park, Illinois, and Robert Longmire of Naperville, Illinois? two grandchildren, Darcie Dowling and Robert Longmire; and a sister, Betty Bean of Highland, California. She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister, Nancy Warren, and a brother, George ?Bud? Provancha.
