Albertine ?Tina? Warner, 95, of Moline, Illinois, died Friday, February 17, 2012, at Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, Illinois.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, with The Reverend Jim DeBisschop officiating. Burial is in Coal Valley Cemetery. A Christian Wake Service is 4 p.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Coal Valley, followed by visitation until 6 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
The former Albertine McCoy was born June 16, 1916, in Vermont, Illinois, the daughter of Clyde and Martha Abernathy McCoy. She married William Warner on October 18, 1936, in Carthage, Illinois. He died December 22, 1993. She was an office clerk at Sears Roebuck Warehouse for 20 years, and was a former member of the Moose Club and American Business Women?s Association. She enjoyed reading. bowling, traveling and flowers.
Tina is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Janis Warner of Coal Valley; her son-in-law, Robert Guild of Janesville, Wisconsin; five grandchildren and their spouses, Michelle Weaver, Kayla and Bill Briecth, Karla and Ted Townsend, Steve and Lisa Guild, and Brian and Wendy Guild; ten great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; a daughter, Susan Guild;four grandchildren; a brother, Robert McCoy; and a half-brother, Pierre Leighty.
