Marjorie E. Patterson, 91, formerly of Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, January 2, 2008, in Davenport Good Samaritan Center, Davenport, Iowa.
Marjorie requested there be no visitation and services will be private. Any remembrance may be made by a donation to Davenport Good Samaritan Center or a favorite charity. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is assisting the family.
The former Marjorie Elizabeth Wratten was born March 15, 1916, in Albia, Iowa, the daughter of Margaret V. (Burnside) and Henry Leo Wratten. She moved to Moline in 1942, and spent many years as a bookkeeper at various automobile dealerships in Moline and Rock Island. Until the last few years, Marge enjoyed traveling, bowling, fishing, sewing and needlework projects.
Marge is surived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia Vander Vennett of Longwood, Florida, and Sondra and Ronald Rohren of Moline; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson.
