Du-Jor Simpson

Du-Jor "Day-Day" Simpson, 22, of Davenport, Iowa, died Friday, August 18, 2017, at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport.

Services are 1:00 p.m. Friday at the House of the Lord Church, Davenport, with Pastor K.W. Maxwell officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Cremation will take place after services at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

He was born December 20, 1994, in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He enjoyed playing basketball and video games, and loved music. Above all else, family was the most important thing to Day-Day, especially his nieces and nephews that he took under his wing and helped take care of.

Survivors include his mother, Jerleaner Jackson of Davenport; his father, Ronald Simpson of Indianapolis, Indiana; siblings, Shannatta and Dannatta Binion of Davenport, Kenreall Binion of Kewanee, Illinois, Deunate Alexander of Davenport, and Miriam Faith Simpson of Indianapolis; nieces and nephews, Alayah Robinson, Amari Ellis, Travyzz and Treshon Binion, Sabrina Smith, Kenalah Binion, and Marcel Alexander; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
