Moline, Illinois Dorothy M. Thorpe, 89, of Moline, died Friday, October 15, 2004, in Country House Residence, Davenport. Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Entombment is in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation is 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association. The former Dorothy Margaret Steele was born July 24, 1915, in Moline, the daughter of Frank and Margaret (Kelly) Steele. She married Norman Thorpe on September 11, 1936, in Moline. He died . She was employed by the City of Moline as a Crossing Guard at Grant School, Moline. She traveled extensively, loved her pets, and enjoyed Bingo. Dorothy is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Pennie and Jerry TeBockhorst of Moline; two grandchildren and their spouses, Jennifer and Andrew Larson and Andrew and Teri TeBockhorst; and four great-grandchildren, Holly, Felecia, Ceara, and Veronika.
