East Moline, Illinois Dorothy M. Miner, 86, formerly of East Moline, died Wednesday, August 29, 2001, in Illini Restorative Care Center, Silvis. Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. The Reverend Christian Meyer will officiate. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Visitation is one hour before the services. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline, where she was a member. The former Dorothy Marie Lund was born July 22, 1915, in Moline, the daughter of Charles and Clara (Burk) Lund. She married Edward B. Miner in 1968, in Moline; he died September 16, 1996. She was employed at the Rock Island Arsenal for 25 years, retiring in 1967.
