Dorothy M. Fisher, 93, of Moline, Illinois, died Friday, December 20, 2013, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, Illinois.

Services are 10:00 a.m. Friday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, with The Reverend Randy Willers officiating. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church, Moline, where she was a member.

The former Dorothy Mildred Marshall was born October 20, 1920, in Burlington, Iowa. She graduated from Burlington High School, and married David W. Fisher on November 18, 1942, in Burlington. He died September 24, 1979.

Dorothy worked in the office for J.C. Penney for over 30 years, retiring in 1985. She enjoyed quilting, and was an avid reader.

She is survived by a son, David R. Fisher of Moline, a daughter and son-in-law, Mary M. and Larry Greb of Huntsville, Alabama, a grandson, David "Chip" Fisher, and great-grandsons, Marston and Levi Fisher, all of Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Robert J. Marshall.
