Moline, Illinois Dorothy H. Delmar, 74, of Moline, died Monday, November 24, 2003, in Rosewood Care Center, Moline. Services are 2 p.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Interment is in National Cemetery on the Rock Island Arsenal. Visitation is one hour before the services. Memorials may be made to Riverside United Methodist Church, Moline, or a favorite charity. The former Dorothy Hallgren was born March 12, 1929, in Moline, the daughter of Carl and Anna Westlund Hallgren. She married Paul J. Delmar on August 20, 1954, in Moline. She was a secretary at Deere and Company, Moline, for 37 years, retiring in 1984. She was an active member of Riverside United Methodist Church, Moline, where she sang in the choir and played the piano for Sunday school. She loved to travel and play Bridge, and enjoyed music. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Paul; two step-sons and their wives, P. Jay and Rita Delmar of Arlington, Texas, and Joe and Joann Delmar of Nashville, Tennessee; three step grandchildren, Aimee Losh and her husband Jason, Erin Delashmit and her husband Mark, and Laurel Delmar; two step-great-grandchildren, Amanda and Jenna Losh; and several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew and his wife, John R. and Susan Jones of Hereford, Arizona.
