Doris A. Elliott, 90, formerly of Moline, Illinois, departed this life for a grand adventure on November 5, 2020, at St. Bernards Medical Center, Jonesboro, Arkansas.

A life so beautiful deserves a special celebration. Please join Doris’s family in honoring her life and legacy at a farewell garden party on Saturday, July 17, 2021, from Noon to 4 p.m. at the Quad City Botanical Center, 2525 4th Ave, Rock Island.

Doris loved a good, themed party. Put on your fancy garden hats and enjoy a celebration of life and hors d’oeuvres, while you tour the gardens, view the art, and visit with family and friends. All are things which Doris held dear to her heart. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Quad City Botanical Center or the Figge Art Museum.

Doris Ann Ade was born August 7, 1930, in Moline, the daughter of Earl and Mildred (Greer) Ade. She married the love of her life, Francis Elliott on December 22, 1951.

Doris is survived by her three children Diana (Mariano) Villania, Glendale, CA, Aleen “Dusty” Elliott Brookland, AR, and Tom (Sharon) Elliott Taylor Ridge, IL ; grandchildren, Steve (Darcy) Crafton, Eric (Christina) Crafton and Nick (Lisa) Doscher, Stephanie (Brandon) Brown, Michelle (Travis) Eddy; great-grandchildren, Anthony Natarelli and Elliana Brown, Maslyn and Tredon Eddy, Isaac Crafton and Tirza Zarate, Christopher and Ivy Crafton, Garrett Doscher; and two brothers, Charles “Bill” Ade of St. Louis, Missouri, and John Ade of Vancouver, Canada. Special Friends Esther Gibson and Gwen Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister, Emily Wilson.
