Donnie M. Blair

Donnie M. Blair, 80, of Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015, in his residence.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with visitation one hour before the services. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois, where Moline American Legion Post #246 will present military honors.

Donnie Mitchell Blair was born August 21, 1934, in Stone, Kentucky, to Floyd and Polly (Blackburn) Blair. He married Nancy Golley in 1963, in Chicago. She died January 4, 2005. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps from 1953 to 1956, and was a fork lift driver for Anixter Cable Company, retiring in 2002. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, and enjoyed fishing, traveling, and watching cowboy movies.

Donnie is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Corey Brown of Colona, Illinois
