Donald C. Cram, 85, of Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, May 29, 2019, in his home.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with The Rev. Donald Levitt officiating. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery, where Moline American Legion Post #246 will present military honors. Friends are invited to join the family at a luncheon at CityView Celebrations at Trimble Pointe following the burial. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospitals.
Donald Charles Cram was born September 16, 1933, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Donald and Martha (Weber) Cram. He married Joyce Menning on October 13, 1954, in Davenport, Iowa. She died October 6, 2014. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a supervisor at the Rock Island Arsenal. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline, and loved to golf, travel, and spend time with his grandchildren.
Don is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael Cram of Delaware, Ohio, and Patrick and Deborah Cram of Rock Island; grandchildren, Chad Donald (Jodi), Sean (Ronda), Justin (Jennifer), Danielle Joyce, and Samantha Nani Cram; step-grandchildren, William (Barbara) Close, Malisa (Bryan) Adams, and Traci Hendershot; great-grandchildren, Emma, Dillon, Madison, Logan, Sarah, Havanna, Phoenix, and Nami and Timothy Cram; step-great-grandchildren, Kylee and Branden Close, Hope and Brooke Adams, and Tyler Menezes; and a sister, Margie Dwight of East Moline. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; a daughter-in-law, Patty Cram; a granddaughter-in-law, April Cram; and a brother-in-law, David Dwight.
