Diane Dee Jensen-Bantz

Diane Dee Bantz-Jensen, 56, of Rock Island, formerly of St. Louis, MO, died Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island. Services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM at Trimble Funeral Home, Coal Valley with burial following at Moline Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be given to the American Heart Association. The former Diane Dee Jensen was born August 26, 1947 in Moline the daughter of Shirley Courtney and Marguerite Marie (Lief) Jensen. She married Everett Bantz in December of 1971 in Houston, Texas. Diane was a homemaker, worked for Millco Window Company in Rock Island, and was self employed as a merchandise marketer for Pro-Demo Distribtution Company in St. Louis. She loved watching Nascar races, the St. Louis Cardinals, and enjoyed cross stitching. Diane had hoped to be strong enough to receive a heart transplant at the Mayo Clinic. Among her final wishes in life, were to see her oldest grandson, Tyler and to hold Ryan Michael, her eight day old grandson. Survivors include her daughter, Stacy Bantz of Denver, Colorado, a son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Andrea Bantz , two grandsons, Tyler and Ryan MichaelBantz all of St. Louis, MO, and three sisters, Shirley Schwartz of Colona, Sharon Kehoe of Rock Island, and Kathy Goodyear of Cambridge, Illinois.
