Diana L. Heick

Diana L. Heick, 61, of New Windsor, Illinois, died Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at OSF HealthCare Transitional Care Hospital, Peoria, Illinois.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Diana’s memory. 

Diana Lynn Heick was born October 31, 1962, in Moline, the daughter of Marion and Sylvia (Beveridge) Heick.  She worked for many years at Oak Glen Home and later at Hope Creek Nursing & Rehab.   Her last job was at Walmart in Silvis.

She loved the Quad Cities River Bandits and Johnny Cash.  She also enjoyed watching old westerns on television, especially if John Wayne was in them!  Above all else, Diana loved spending time with her daughter, Maya, and her many dogs and cats over the years.

Diana is survived by her beloved daughter, Maya (Isaac Walker) Heick of New Windsor; her father, Marion Heick of Davenport, Iowa; and siblings, Cheryl Schafer and Brian (Rebecca) Heick.
