Dennis W. Durham, 73, of Moline, Illinois, died Saturday, August 18, 2018, in Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.

Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 28, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with Pastor John Grebner officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Island National Cemetery, and friends are invited to a luncheon at CityView Celebrations at Trimble Pointe after the burial. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Monday. Memorials may be made to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.

Dennis Wayne Durham was born April 11, 1945, in Rock Island, Illinois, to Eldo and Florence (Hoffman) Durham. He married Ilene Kay Buckrop on May 29, 1964, in Lancaster, Missouri. Denny served in the US Navy for four years, and then served eight years in the US Air Force, and was medically retired. He then worked at the Rock Island Arsenal, for a combined 45 years of government service. After retiring, he worked at Target in Davenport for four years.

Denny was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bettendorf, and Quad City Chapter #2 of DAV. He loved music, especially oldies, and fishing.

Denny is survived by his wife, Ilene; four children and spouses, Dale and Julie Durham of Clearwater, Florida, Dwayne and Jenny Durham of Centerville, Iowa, LeAndrea and Troy Scott of Moline, and Kimberly and Jason Mays of Geneseo, Illinois; six grandchildren; and siblings and spouses, Ronald and Susie Durham of Davenport, Betty Johnson of East Moline, and Shirley and Walter Kehler of Minnesota.
