Dennis J. Maynard

Dennis J. Maynard, 73, of Milan, Illinois, died Monday, January 27, 2025, at home. 

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Dennis James Maynard was born December 23, 1951, in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Hosea and Mildred (Bourne) Maynard. After graduating High School, he went on to complete two trade schools. He married Linda Lafferty on March 15, 1971, in DeWitt, Iowa. 

He enjoyed spending his time outdoors, either fishing or camping. When at home, he was always grateful to be in the presence of his son and dogs. Dennis was an avid animal lover, and would always have pictures of his pups on his phone.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Linda; two daughters; son, Devon Maynard; many grandchildren; and a brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
