Deb had the heart of a true nurturer and the mind of a wondrous intellectual. She graduated from Savanna Community High School in 1965, and then from Lutheran Hospital School for Nursing in 1977. Deb then went on to receive her certificate as an OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee School of Nursing. For 36 years Deb used her strengths to help others as a registered nurse and OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner. She had a passion for learning and dedication to her profession.
Among many things, Deb was a medieval, fictional and archaeological book connoisseur. She enjoyed baking, sewing, crafting, celebrating with her friends at the Vikings Club, and camping with her husband, Ed Romeo. Her hobbies and special talents made for a happy home, special holidays with family, and good friendships. Her status as a nurturer and an intellectual was not only evident in her profession, but also at home with her family. Deb Romeo is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Romeo; her sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Kelly Romeo and Al and Autumn Romeo; her grandchildren, Kylie, Taylor, Ashley, and Alex Romeo; her sister, Donna Sersig; and several nieces and nephews.
Deb's family invites friends to share stories and condolences and light a free candle in her memory at www.TrimbleFuneralHomes.com.
