Deborah M. Micklewright, 71, of Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, Illinois.
A gathering to celebrate Debbie’s life will be Noon to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Len Brown’s North Shore Inn & Marina, 700 N Shore Dr. Moline. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in her memory.
The former Deborah Mickey Angell was born April 28, 1950, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Bobby and Lovie (McClard) Angell. She married Jeffrey MacCall and later married Dean Micklewright. She was a fixture at QCA Family Restaurant in Moline, where she waitressed for over 16 years. She considered her co-workers and patrons to be her extended family and loved her job very much.
She enjoyed reading, playing bingo, and watching movies. Above all else, family and friends were the most important thing to Debbie.
Debbie is survived by two sons, Tim (Rachel) MacCall of Coal Valley, Illinois, and Joshua Louck of Moline; grandchildren, Jordan, Madisyn, Cameryn, and Joshua Jr. Louck, and their mother, Alecia Schoonejongen, all of Tucson, Arizona; siblings, Alice Angell of Normal, Illinois, Roger (Rhonda) Angell of Kingsville, Missouri, and David Gasper of Durango, Colorado; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Sandra Allen and Ricky Gasper.
