Christine Deanne Keegan, 61, of Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, June 24, 2010, in the Des Moines Veterans Hospital, Iowa.
Services are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, with Fr. Jim DeBisschop officiating. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Honor Flight of the Quad Cities.
The former Christine Deanne Hansen was born May 13, 1949, in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of Louis and Metta (Craton) Hansen. She married Don Bright. She later married Don Keegan. She served in the United States Navy Reserves until becoming disabled in 1970 due to an automobile accident.
Deanne was a hairdresser at various local salons prior to 1970. She was a member of the Moline American Legion Post #246, the Moline Viking Lodge, and the Moline Moose Lodge. She enjoyed playing bingo, pull-tabs, and gambling on the boats. She loved her dog, Spike, and her cat, Tammy.

She is survived by sisters and a brother-in-law, Vicky and David VanAusdall of Davenport, Iowa, Lola Ghys of Lincoln City, Oregon, and Cindy Hansen of Davenport, Iowa; several nieces and nephews; and special friends who took good care of her, Julie Seabloom and Becky Yegger.
