David Michael Anthony Burns

David M.A. Burns, 44, of Davenport, Iowa, died Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Genesis Medical Center East, Davenport.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

David Michael Anthony Burns was born July 7, 1977, in New Mexico, the son of Michael Anthony and Melione (Hibner) Burns.

He loved driving in general as well as for his career as a truck driver. He also was a whiz at the computer and was always willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons, especially with his friend, Tom.

David is survived by two daughters, Hailey Burns of Bettendorf, and Melissa Barnhart of Massachusetts; his parents, Melione Rasor of Davenport, Anthony Rasor of East Moline, and Michael Burns; a sister, Davina Burns-Beard of Fayetteville, North Carolina; a brother, Kristin “Eugene” (Ashley) Burns of Davenport; and several nieces and nephews.
