David “Lee” McIntosh, 76, of Davenport, Iowa, died Saturday, March 29, 2025, at home.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Scott County.
Lee was born October 30, 1948, in Missouri, the son of Dorvin and Lena Margie (Henley) McIntosh. He proudly served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. He married the love of his life, Betty Piggott, on May 27, 1999, in Davenport.
He worked at Oscar Mayer for over 30 years. An avid golfer, Lee’s happiest times were spent on the golf course, at one of a couple special bars with friends, or with his family and beloved dog, Emma.
Lee is survived by his wife, Betty; siblings, Larry (Jeannene) McIntosh, Laurel (Paula) McIntosh, Lena (Reggie) Freeman, Letha (Joe) Dolph, Lester McIntosh, Loren (Teri) McIntosh, Lori (Jeff) Heifert, and Jenny (Ryan) Maasdam; and many nieces and nephews.
