Daryll D. Hicks, Sr.

Daryll D. Hicks, Sr., 61, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Friday, November 24, 2023, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Iowa City.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

Daryll Demetrie Hicks was born July 6, 1962, in Rock Island, the son of Bennie Sr. and Ola Idell (Hilliard) Hicks.

He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and playing cards.

Daryll is survived by his children, Vaveka Hicks and Daryll D. Hicks, Jr. both of Rock Island (and their mother, Shirley Clay), Daphanie Hicks, Marcus Hester, Philip Hicks, and Shardae Hicks; siblings, Bennie Hicks Jr. and Paulette Hicks, both of Rock Island; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
