Port Byron, Illinois Darryl L. "Beebs" Stinocher, 61, of Port Byron, died Wednesday, May 8, 2002, in his home after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. Services are 10 a.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Burial is in Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Visitation is 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Illinois Chapter of Multiple Sclerosis Society. Darryl Lee Stinocher was born July 30, 1940, in Moline, the son of Leo and Myrtle (Payn) Stinocher. He was a tool and die maker at John Deere Spreader Works and Harvester Works, East Moline, for 31 years, retiring in 1989. He belonged to the National Street Rod Association and UAW Local, East Moline. He had many hobbies, including cars, woodworking, landscaping the house he built, restoring and showing vintage automobiles, bowling, playing cards and dominoes, dining with his many friends, and spending time with his family who will miss his October campfires. Beebs is survived by a son, Douglas Stinocher of Boca Raton, Florida, and a brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Kelli Stinocher, and two nephews, Mathew and Joshua, all of Davenport.
