Springfield, Illinois Darin J. Lewis, 39, of Springfield, Illinois, formerly of Moline, died Thursday, September 2, 2004, in his residence. Services are 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Burial is in Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A funeral luncheon will be held at Fifteenth Avenue Christian Church, Rock Island, after the services. Memorials may be made to an education fund for his daughter. Darin was born May 24, 1965, in Moline, the son of Delbert and Bettie Lu (Courtney) Lewis. He graduated from Moline High School and Blackhawk College. He married Cindy Gargano on July 15, 1995, in Nassau, Bahamas. He was a computer network engineer for Cyber Solutions, Springfield, for the past 8 years. He was active in the Southern Baptist Church, Springfield, and belonged to the Masonic Lodge. Darin is survived by his wife, Cindy, and daughter, Ociana, of Davenport, Iowa; his parents, Delbert and Bettie Lewis of Moline; his sister and brother-in-law, Darcy and Rod Danner of Rock Island; and several nieces and nephews.
