Danny L. Redman, 58, of Coal Valley, Illinois, died Sunday, November 18, 2012, in his home.
Services are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 29, 2012, at the Rock Island National Cemetery, where the American Legion Post #246 will present military honors. Those wishing to attend should meet at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, by 9:45 a.m. Memorials may be made to the family.
Danny Lee Redman was born August 7, 1954, in Spring Valley, Illinois, the son of Willard and Mary (Heyvaert) Redman. He graduated from Moline High School in 1972 before serving in the US Marine Corp.
He was a journeyman electrician, working for IBEW Local 145 for several years, last working at the Quad Cities Nuclear Plant. He enjoyed camping, driving his boat, and watching the Chicago Bears.
Danny is survived by his fiancé, Marge Stone, of Coal Valley; daughters, Ashley (Alec) Epkes of Eldridge, Iowa, and Danielle Redman of Moline; a granddaughter, Ava Ann Senatra; and his mother, Mary Redman, and sister, Dianna (Larry Deboard) Redman, all of Port Byron. He was preceded in death by his father.
