Daniel R. Fulscher, 74, of East Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Harmony on Locust, Davenport, Iowa.
Services are 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 10, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with Rev. Tanner Payton officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery where the Vietnam Veterans of America Quad Cities Chapter will present military honors. Memorials may be made to Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.
Daniel Ray Fulscher was born November 28, 1950, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Donald L. and Grace (Hillock) Fulscher. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and went on to work as a small engine repair main and mechanic at Farm and Fleet in Moline. He retired in 2012, but enjoyed working on engines long after retirement.
Dan loved his sisters, brothers, nephews and nieces. He will be remembered as a small man with a big heart.
He is survived by his sisters, Mary Jo (Kerry) Pisman of Sherrard, Illinois, and Janice Gilmore of Silvis, Illinois; brothers, Jerry (Pat) Fulscher of Moline, and Donny R. Fulscher of Moline; brother-in-law, Pat Moody of Colona, Illinois; and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Theodore W. Fulscher, Susie Hulting, Nancy Kay Moody, Beth Ann Gannon, and Kathy Simmons.
The family would like to give special thanks to the Quad Cities VA Clinic in Davenport and Quad Cities Nephrology Associates in Moline for the wonderful care given to Dan.
