Daniel A. Anselmi

Daniel A. ”Danny” Anselmi, 46, of Rock Island, Illinois, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, in his home.

Services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Moline. Visitation is 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Burial is 9:30 a.m. Monday at Rock Island National Cemetery. Those attending should meet at the funeral home by 9:15 a.m.

Danny was born October 13, 1966, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Norman and Mary Garcia Anselmi. He served in the U. S. Navy, and married Melody Kite on January 27, 2001, in Davenport, Iowa. He worked at Nott Company, and previously worked at TSC Global. He loved spending time with his family, enjoyed cooking, and was learning to do woodworking.

Danny is survived by his wife, Melody; daughters, Mary Rohde of Rock Island, Chris Burgeson of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Sarah Hamerly of Davenport, Iowa; 7 grandchildren; his parents, Mary and Norman Anselmi of Coal Valley, Illinois; siblings and spouses, Crystal and John Adams of East Moline, Illinois, Carmela and Larry Ward of Homer Glen, Illinois, Troy and Sonya Anselmi of Colona, Illinois, and Matthew and Jennifer Anselmi of Moline; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Allegra Anselmi.
