Dale C. Hooker

Moline, Illinois Dale C. Hooker, 76, formerly of Moline, died Friday, October 31, 2003, in Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley. Services are 2 p.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Burial is in Rose Lawn Memorial Estate. Visitation is one hour before the services. Memorials may be made to Oak Glen Home. Mr. Hooker was born August 3, 1927, in Paris, Illinois, the son of Eugene and Ellen (Eaton) Hooker. He married Elizabeth Seaberg on March 1, 1982, in Moline. She died May 23, 1997. He had worked at 16th Street Maid-Rite in Moline for several years. He formerly belonged to Fifteenth Avenue Christian Church, Rock Island. He enjoyed bingo and traveling with church groups, and was an avid fan of professional baseball and knew all of the statistics and records. Dale is survived by a brother, Paul Hoover and his wife, Barbara, of Moline, and sisters, Evalyne Wise and Marjorie Ulman of Rock Island, and several nieces and nephews.
