East Moline, Illinois Craig E. King, 75, of East Moline, died Friday, May 31, 2002, in his home. Services are 11 a.m. Monday at South Park Presbyterian Church, Rock Island. The Reverend Douglas Ganyo will officiate. Private interment will be in White Rock Cemetery, Kings, Illinois. Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, and from 10 a.m. to funeral time Monday at the church. Memorials may be made to the church. Craig Etnyre King was born May 12, 1927, in DeKalb, Illinois, the son of Francis and Lucile (Etnyre) King. He served in the U. S. Marines during WW II. He married Dorothy Minnear Scavone in 1956, in Kansas city, Missouri. She died March 7, 1986. He married Neva Kish Gran on August 15, 1987, in Rock Island. He was employed in mid-management and retail sales by Sears for over 26 years, retiring in 1990. He was an active member of South Park Presbyterian Church, Rock Island, volunteering his time as a Stephens Minister, and had served as president of the Summit Ridge Condominium Association. He enjoyed running and power-walking on Ben Butterworth Parkway. He helped in the after school drop-in center at the church. Craig thoroughly enjoyed his seven grandchildren - watching them play basketball, baseball, soccer, and softball. He will also be missed by his grouchy cat, Ellen. Craig is survived by his wife, Neva; three daughters and sons-in-law, Leslie and Marvin Zwicker of Orion, Carol and Clair Pearson of Coal Valley, and Robin and Bob Berhenke of Moline; seven grandchildren, Kyle, Kelsey, and Kory Zwicker, Rachael and Molly Pearson, and Jonathan and Carly Berhenke; a sister, Sandra Koebler of Springfield, Illinois; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Hal King of Beachhaven, New Jersey, and Gary and Helen King of Rochelle, Illinois.
