Connie M. Dodds

Connie M. Dodds, 65, of Davenport, Iowa, died Friday, May 19, 2023, in her home.

Private family services will be held.  Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital.

The former Connie Maxine Antle was born October 24, 1957, in Davenport, the daughter of Jack and Arlene (Nichols) Antle.  She married the love of her life, Kevin Dodds on September 24, 1977, in Davenport. 

She was a huge Mickey Mouse fan and enjoyed traveling (especially to Florida and motorcycle trips with her husband).  Above all else, family was the most important thing to Connie, especially her grandchildren and great-grandson.

Connie is survived by her beloved husband of over 45 years, Kevin; her daughter, Chasity Scace of Davenport; three grandchildren, Madison Dodds, Maicy Scace and Maddixx Scace; her great-grandson, Ma’Kai Dodds; siblings, Denise (Don) Johnston, Jack (Denise) Antle, Danny (Sharon) Antle, Penny Hahn, Kevin Antle, Randy Antle, Candy Kay, David (Tammy) Antle, and Kim Antle; and sisters-in-law, Julie and Pamela Antle; and a special niece, Crystal Bolser, who was like a daughter to Connie.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Garry Moore, Scott Antle and Roger “Bones” Antle.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Sy and everyone on his team for the wonderful care given to Connie.
