Services for Charlotte M. Quick, 89, and Robert L. Quick, 90, formerly of Moline, Illinois, will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2015, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with The Reverend Scott Carlson officiating. Cremation has taken place at Trimble Crematory and burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery where Moline American Legion Post #246 will present military honors for Bob. Visitation is one hour before the service, and the family will greet friends at hospitality luncheon at CityView Celebrations at Trimble Pointe following the burial. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors Project or Alzheimer's Association.

Charlotte died Saturday, July 4, 2015, and Robert died Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Aspen Rehab and Heath Care, Silvis, Illinois.

The former Charlotte Marie Cranmer was born July 25, 1925, in Galesburg, Illinois, to Charles and Beulah Wheeler Cranmer. Robert Leroy Quick was born October 27, 1924, in Moline, to Clifford William and Viola Ollar Quick. They married On February 5, 1944, in Moline. Bob served in the U. S. Army during WW II, and was a forward observer during the Battle of the Bulge. He was an electrician at the former Robbins Electric, Moline, and previously was a superintendent at various nuclear power plants throughout the country.

Charlotte was a member of King's Daughters and Home Extension, and was a fabulous seamstress and cook. Bob was a member of Moline Lodge #1014, AF & AM, Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Moline, and Moline High-Twelve Club, and enjoyed fishing and golf. Both were active members of Riverside United Methodist Church, Moline. The loved hanging out with their family and friends.

They are survived by five children and spouses and partners, Sharon Suss and Bill Smutz of Moline, Stephen and Sue Quick of Williamsburg, Virginia, Ronald Quick and Jackie Flaum of Maribel, Wisconsin, Sandra and Joe Lomora of Bridgman, Michigan, and Melissa and Mark Clay of Ashtabula, Ohio; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and Bob's sister, Betty Church of Wisconsin. Charlotte was preceded in death by a sister, Katy, and Bob was preceded in death a sister, Beverly and a brother, Clifford.
