Cathy worked for the Louisa/Muscatine County School District for many years before becoming a lab technician for Louis Rich in West Liberty, Iowa. Most recently, she was a cook at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.
She loved horses, volunteering for New Kingdom Trailriders. She had a wide variety of interests and talents. She was a wonderful cook who was known for her wedding cakes and even ran her own restaurant in Lockridge, Iowa called “Country Cousins”.
Cathy was a talented seamstress, making wedding dresses and veils, as well as prom dresses for family and friends. She enjoyed playing the organ, archery, golfing, and trivia of all kinds. Above all else, family was the most important thing to Cathy, especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
