Caroline E. Johnson

Moline, Illinois Services for Caroline Johnson, 85, of Moline, are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. The Reverend Gary LaCroix, Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline, will officiate. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or a favorite charity. Mrs. Johnson died Thursday, March 28, 2002, in her daughter's home in Oak Harbor, Washington. The former Caroline Rasmussen was born March 30, 1916, in Moline, the daughter of John and Carrie (Fredericksen) Rasmussen. She married Hugo K. Johnson on August 29, 1937, in Moline. He died October 27, 1999. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline, and the Goodwill Hospital Circle. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed cooking and flower arranging. Caroline is survived by two children and their spouses, Ronald B. and Cindy Johnson of Moline and Barbara and Capt. Dan Wright of Oak Harbor, Washington, and four grandchildren, Tara and Barrett Johnson and Lanida and Katharine Wright. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Frerkes.
