Carolina was born September 6, 1950, the daughter of Juan Martinez Alonso and Guadalupe Campos Martinez in Mexico. Above all else, family was the most important thing to Caro. She had a genuine desire to help and was dedicated to caring for her family, especially her younger sister, Raquel. Caro enjoyed listening to music, watching soap operas, doing daily crosswords and in her earlier years, she loved to sew.
Of all the people in her life, Caro had an unsurpassed amount of love for her nephew, Oscar Hernandez, who she always voiced was like a son to her. Oscar's daughter Yuriana, also held a very special place in her heart.
Carolina is the beloved sister of Albertina (Angel) Gutierrez, Edelmira (Carlos Rosas) Martinez, Raquel (Salvador) Hernandez, Alicia (Eleazar) Vera, and Raul Martinez. She will be remembered and missed deeply by her family, friends, and many nieces and nephews.
