Carol Vanlandegen

Carol Ann VanLandegen passed away in the early hours of Friday, October 19, 2018 at her home in Moline, Illinois.

A hospitality gathering will take place Friday, November 30, 2018, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at CityView Celebrations at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline.

She was born on August 24, 1963 and adopted by her surviving parents Manford and Joyce Rowe. She is also survived by her adopted brothers Dan Rowe and Matt (Melissa) Rowe.

Her beloved children Jason Rowe, Lee Neal, Daryl Neal, and Samantha Neal (Wade Wilcox) all currently reside in Moline. She has two grandchildren Gunner Neal and Wynter Rose Wilcox that she adored. In 1999, Carol was united and is survived by her maternal half-sister Gayla Patrick, and her niece Rachel Passini and nephew Jacob Belcher. Her birth mother Lora Mae Wilson and her half-brother Carlin Gerald Barnett passed away prior to her reunion with Gayla.

Carol was a very loving and compassionate woman as can be ultimately recognized by generously donating her remains to educational research in hope of assisting in saving the lives of others. She tremendously enjoyed spending time with her family, doting on her two cats, and was an avid collector of all things related to pigs.

She was extremely humorous and her laughter will be truly missed by all of us that were blessed enough to have been infected by it.
