Carldeen Hubbard

Carldeen Hubbard, 70, of Moline, Illinois, died Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.

There will be no public services. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, at a later date.

Carl was born May 2, 1945, in Harrisburg, Illinois, the son of George and Nellie (Hogg) Hubbard. He married Judy Kirley in 1963. She died in 1987.

He worked for Montgomery Elevator for many years. He was an accomplished bowler and an avid Chicago Cubs' and Bears' fan.

Carl is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Lorie Hubbard of Moline; two grandchildren, Carl Hubbard, Jr. and Lucy Hubbard; siblings and their spouses, Noveta Henry and her significant other, Steve, of East Moline, George and Sharon Hubbard of Silvis, Darletia and Jack Horton of East Moline, Marriettia and Larry Nordholm of Coal Valley, and Melody and Don Krack of Ottertail, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
