Brian S. Watters, 61, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at the VA Central Iowa Heath Care System, Des Moines, Iowa.

Graveside services are 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Rock Island National Cemetery, immediately followed by a gathering at First United Presbyterian Church, Moline, until 11:30 a.m. Those wishing to attend should meet at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, at 8:45 a.m.

Brian was born January 11, 1952, in Bronx, New York, the son of William and Ione Watters. He married Mary Grizzle in 1972 after joining the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his children, Stephen Watters (Kim McKay) of Galesburg, Illinois, Brie (Drew) Redwine of Billings, Montana, and Faith Watters of Moline; ten grandchildren; an ex-daughter-in-law, Angi Watters; a brother, Kevin; and a sister, Linda. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Michael "Mickey".
